Conventional Paranoia colors are the spectrum (Roy G Biv), with white added at the top and black at the bottom. So the clearances were:About 40 years ago, give or take, I had a computer game based loosely on Paranoia
There were five colour levels everyone started at red level and had to make your way up the levels to blue at the top.
I don't remember the colours for levels 2 and 3, but fourth was orange.
It was a top down game, you could see the entire city and one colour seemed to be missing - orange
Then someone would turn orange an you'd get a message.
'So and so have been identified as a traitor, you can identify them by their orange clothing'
Kill enough traitors and you climb to the next level
become orange and suddenly everyone is trying to kill you!
I never reached blue
Black (ordinary peon)
Red (starting PC)
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Indigo
Violet
White (high programmer)
