Does not having worn a wristwatch for 10+ years count as seldom enough? But I still own it, so I can't really say I don't own a watch either... But it's not like I could just put it on, since it hasn't had a working battery in years.
I do have a mechanical pocket watch that I use occasionally. It's mechanical specifically because I don't use it regularly, so I don't have to worry about batteries. I just wind it when I need it and it's always good to go. If for whatever reason I were to get another wristwatch, I'd get a mechanical one for the same reason.
I suppose I'll answer I don't own a wristwatch since I technically don't own a working wristwatch. It needs a new battery before it can be used.
